Moscone Convention Center has been undergoing a major transformation. What can groups expect from the new space?
Moscone Center corner expansion
The Moscone expansion will add more than 157,000 gross square feet of flexible meeting space to Moscone North and South on Howard Street, between Third and Fourth Streets. This addition creates more than 500,000 gross square feet to be used as contiguous exhibition space or flexible meeting space. Groups will experience expanded lobbies in Moscone’s North and South buildings and two new floors of column-free meeting space including a 50,000-square-foot ballroom.
Fall is a season of back-to-back tech conferences in San Francisco – tell me about how the city is preparing for these tremendous group experiences?
Fall is a VERY busy season for San Francisco, but we are as prepared as ever. We have an amazing team at SF Travel, Moscone Center, and in the city that stays prepared for these back to back events. Guests to San Francisco will get to experience a seamless and authentic experience.
Is there anything else new and exciting you’d like to share about San Francisco?
There are so many new event venues and hotels coming online soon:
- The Virgin Hotel – a highly anticipated project by Richard Branson)
- Yotel SF – in a refurbished historic building on Market Street
- Hyatt Place – including rooftop bar with views of downtown and the Bay Bridge
