Laugh and Learn with Brunch at the Punch

The PCMA Northern California Chapter is hosting an event like no other as we meet for an education program with a twist.   Not only will we be at the iconic Punch Line Comedy Club but we will also hear from the amazing Zanette Johnson, PhD about the Science of Awareness.  This interactive and highly engaging program will leave you inspired and energized.

“The Science of Awareness.” Communication is deeply influenced by both inner and outer awareness. We will discuss brain/body awareness of one’s own state, working with triggers, and the power of mindfulness and service to bring us into the present moment.

About the Speaker:
Zanette Johnson, PhD
Facilitator and YOL Director of Learning

Zanette designs learning experiences to facilitate small, powerful workplace changes. Acting at first as an ethnographer, she watches and listens deeply to clients’ challenges; she then responds by testing new practices to stimulate desired growth patterns. She teaches teams adaptive processes that sustain their positive new dynamic over time. Dr. Johnson impacts teams by tinkering at three related levels: the workplace ecosystem, interpersonal interactions, and individual behavior. These meaningful changes garner big returns in terms of employees’ intrinsic satisfaction, engagement, and effectiveness. Zanette holds a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Religious Studies, a Masters in Teaching, and a doctoral degree from Stanford University’s “Learning Science and Technology Design” program.
