Join us on Thursday, May 30th for our 7th annual day of learning.  With a venue as unique as The Chapel you can expect the education to be just as exciting.  Instead of breakouts, we have a culmination of inspiring speakers and are giving them the stage for keynote presentations.  We are thrilled to welcome back Rock and Roll Team Building to kick off the day and close the day in style.  Come ready to learn and rock out for a Thursday “work day” that is nothing like you have ever experienced.  Think music meets learning—entertainment that inspires—unique networking and collaboration opportunities—and so much more.   We look forward to seeing you in a leather jacket, jeans, boots, or whatever else makes you feel rad.

VENUE

The Chapel: The Chapel and Curio is a versatile and inclusive event space in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District, fully outfitted with state of the art sound, lighting, and projection systems in its main Chapel showroom. The venue boasts full in-house services with food and beverage from attached Curio Bar & Restaurant, security and event management staffing. Their turnkey approach allows them to host everything from birthday brunches to multi-day conferences. Whether you have 10 guests or 1,000 their team can help design the event of your dreams.

Rock and Rock Team Building

Music is the universal language and has the ability to change the atmosphere in a room immediately. When used wisely music can make an unforgettable ‘moment’ memorable. With a Grammy nominated songwriter at the helm, we’ll write and produce impactful music at PCMA LEAP!

Ciaran Gribbin is a Grammy-nominated songwriter and performer who, in addition to working with word class artists such as Madonna, U2, Paul McCartney, Snow Patrol and Al Pacino, has toured the world as the singer of INXS.

The Performance of a Life

Why do some people just play notes they are handed while others write new music in the world? In his captivating presentation, violinist Kai Kight will tackle this question, perform original music and share the inspiring story of how he became an innovative composer in a field of conformity. This session will leave you feeling inspired to take your future into your own hands and bring your unique ideas forward.

eSports: Engaging with a Digital Generation

While brands try to find new ways to engage and activate future customers, the phenomenon of eSports is creating a place to do this.  With 65% of the audience 18 to 34 years old, affluent, educated, tech savvy and a 100% on social media, eSports is an industry unlike any other. Learn about massive arenas filled with screaming young fans while millions participate and watch online, as we dive into the intersection of eSports and live events.

Donny Neufuss has worked in emerging and innovative technology for the entertainment and events industries for nearly 20 years. His diverse background in the music industry, event production and entertainment has allowed him to pursue passions in gaming, innovative technology. Today Donny is the SVP of Brightline Interactive, a company of creative technologists and games developers who create customized immersive experiences for brands, entertainment and government.

Parking and Driving

Is there parking near The Chapel? There is no parking provided onsite, but there are parking garages located in the neighborhood. One is the Mission & Bartlett Garage at 90 Bartlett St. (between 21st and 22nd Streets). Another is the Hoff Street Garage at 42 Hoff (between 16th and 17th Streets). There is also some street parking available, with meter enforcement ending at 6:00 pm.

Is The Chapel close to public transportation? Yes – SF Muni bus lines 14, 22, 33, 49, and the J CHURCH light rail are all within walking distance of The Chapel. The closest BART station is 16th & Mission – it’s an approximately 10-minute walk from The Chapel. The last BART trains to the East Bay typically depart around 12:20am and the final Southbound trains around 1:00am. There are also All Nighter bus routes available throughout the city and surrounding counties.
