PCMA NCC requests the honor of your presence at the 2024 BAMIES Awards Gala, Wednesday, November 13, 2024, six o’clock in the evening at the The Palace Hotel San Francisco

Prepare yourself for a decadent dinner and wine service, stunning custom entertainment, a tempting silent auction, enchanting audience participation, and a heart-swelling awards ceremony.

  • 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Opening Reception (silent auction, live music, appetizers, refreshments)
  • 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Dinner Service & Awards Ceremony (banquet, live entertainment, awards and audience participation.)

Fill out this form and we will pair you with a supplier. Registration is limited and based on seat availability communicated by suppliers. Final confirmation will be sent a week prior to the event.

PCMA NCC Impact Award

The Impact Award honors an organization that has consistently contributed to the PCMA NCC Territory by hosting events that significantly benefit the region. This award, driven by nominations from the local Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and Destination Marketing Organization (DMO), recognizes long-term support and community engagement that enhance the Bay Area’s economic and social well-being. The winning organization embodies a commitment to sustainability and leaves a lasting positive legacy through its events.

Rising Star

The Rising Star Award celebrates an emerging talent in our industry who, despite being relatively new, has demonstrated exceptional dedication, vision, and enthusiasm. This award honors an individual who has significantly contributed to our field through their unwavering commitment and willingness to volunteer their time and efforts. Recognized as a future leader, this person is someone to watch, destined to shape the future of the events industry.

  • Eligibility: Less than 3 years in the events industry
Supplier of the Year – 2 Categories

The Bay Area Meeting Industry Excellence Awards celebrate outstanding achievements and contributions in the meeting and events industry. The Supplier of the Year award is a prestigious honor recognizing exceptional service and innovation by suppliers who play a crucial role in the success of meetings and events. This award is divided into two subcategories: Destination Marketing Organization or Convention Visitors Bureau, or Event & Venue Excellence Award.

  • Destination Marketing Organization or Convention Visitors Bureau
    • This award is open to any Destination Marketing Organization (DMO)/CVB in the PCMA NCC chapter region that has demonstrated true partnership with their clients. The winning DMO/CVB will have shown innovative ways to showcase their destination, fostering successful collaborations and creating unique experiences that enhance the appeal and success of their location.
  • Event & Venue Excellence Award
    • The Event & Venue Excellence Award honors outstanding professionals in the hotel and event services sectors, including Sales Managers, GSOs, Conference Services, DMCs, audiovisual companies, and entertainment providers. This award recognizes individuals or teams who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to client success, a deep understanding of their industry, and the ability to deliver seamless, creative, and successful event experiences. The recipient consistently goes above and beyond, providing innovative solutions and unparalleled service that contribute significantly to the success of their clients’ events.
Change Maker Award

The Change Maker Award celebrates individuals that have made a significant impact in the event industry, or within their organizations, by driving innovative changes, setting new standards of excellence, introducing new concepts, technologies or practices that have revolutionized how events are planned, executed, or experienced. Change Makers demonstrate exceptional creativity, adaptability, and forward-thinking, inspiring others to embrace new possibilities and elevate the standard of excellence in the ever-evolving world of events.

Event Planner of the Year – Internal

The Event Planner of the Year Award honors an industry professional who exemplifies excellence in all business interactions and consistently delivers innovative solutions to event challenges. This individual is recognized for their creativity, and their remarkable ability to enhance events year after year, demonstrating a deep respect for and valuing vendor and supplier relationships. Their achievements set a high standard for excellence and professionalism in event planning. (Eligibility: Corporate and or Association)

Event Planner of the Year – External

The Event Planner of the Year Award honors an industry professional who exemplifies excellence in all business interactions and consistently delivers innovative solutions to event challenges. This individual is recognized for their creativity, and their remarkable ability to enhance events year after year, demonstrating a deep respect for and valuing vendor and supplier relationships. Their achievements set a high standard for excellence and professionalism in event planning. (Eligibility: Independent, and or 3rd Party Planners.)

Legend

The Legend Award is bestowed upon a distinguished events and hospitality professional who has provided outstanding service to the industry and various trade organizations over the course of their illustrious career. This award recognizes an individual who has made significant, lasting contributions to the industry and the Bay Area events community. Their career, spanning a minimum of 10 years, is marked by exemplary dedication, innovation, and influence.

  • Eligibility: Minimum of 10 years in the events industry
