DESCRIPTION:The Board of Directors for the Northern California Chapter of PCMA is proud to announce that Josh Adams\, Industry Relations Strategist has been selected as our first recipient of the Pillar Award. This award recognizes Josh’s commitment to the meetings industry and his servant leadership and participation with the Bay Area Meeting Industry Associations. Josh champions leadership in his role at Steamlinevents where he is responsible for vendor and destination relations\, sustainability\, and DEI initiatives. He sits on multiple client advisory boards for US destinations\, hotel companies and hotel representation companies. He can often be seen on many leadership panels and is sought after for his opinion of the state of the industry. \nHis 40+ year travel and corporate event management experience has contributed to his passion to bring together all elements of the event industry to create inclusive and vibrant events. Josh credits his success to his relationships that he has developed over the years. This strong network of mentors and advisors was developed through his participation in various industry organizations such as PCMA\, MPI\, SITE\, LGBT Meeting Professionals Association and CEMA.
